Rowleys raises £3,000 for local charities

Rowleys is delighted to have raised £3,000 for three local Leicestershire charities by cycling to the recent Rugby World Cup.
On Thursday 26th October, 42 staff members, powered by bananas, biscuits and Haribo, cycled 429 miles from the Rowleys offices at Meridian Business Park in Leicester to Stade de France, the venue of the Rugby World Cup Final.
Using bikes generously provided by Hilton LivingWell Health Club, Leicester, the team completed the challenge in an impressive 13 hours and 15 minutes.
The funds raised will be split between three charities Focus, Open Hands and Sound Café. Rowleys has been raising money for these three charities throughout the year through a series of internal initiatives and will continue to top up the pot till the end of the financial year.
The Rowleys team are extremely grateful to all the clients, friends and family who have generously donated as part of the challenge and are already looking forward to planning next year’s!
