All companies are required to complete and file a corporation tax return within 12 months of the company's year end. The tax return can be submitted either manually or over the Internet.

At Rowley's we have a dedicated team of people who can complete the tax return on your behalf and submit this to HMRC over the Internet.

In addition to completing your tax return, our team can assist in the following:

  • Advising on the amount of tax payable - this will be due nine months and 1 day after your year end.
  • Ensuring that your tax affairs are kept up to date
  • Advising on whether you are eligible for Research & Development tax credits
  • Tax efficient remuneration strategies for the directors and key personnel

Tax legislation is complex, so we'll start by ensuring compliance. From there we can help you plan your business, to manage your tax burden. The aim is to minimise your liabilities to make the most of your wealth. Above all, we'll keep it simple and transparent.

HMRC have the power to enquire into your tax return in the 24 month period from your year end. In the event of HMRC opening an enquiry, our tax team have vast experience of dealing with HMRC enquiries and will handle the processes on your behalf.

Rowley's also offer a fee protection insurance scheme to ensure that you do not incur any costs in dealing with an HMRC enquiry.

Our Approach to Fees

Our normal approach to fees is that we agree a fixed fee in advance of work done for specific services. Any services outside the scope of the agreement will be charged separately.

The benefit of fixed fees is that each party knows exactly what is payable and by when.

Furthermore, we want you to talk to us over particular issues, but be reassured that it doesn't cost anything to talk. We only charge when we have agreed the basis of work to be done.
