Volunteers from Rowley's and Rowley Turton have just completed their first term working with some of the children and teachers at Braunstone Community Primary School on their Right to Read Scheme.
"This has been an enjoyable and rewarding experience. The children have been a pleasure to sit with and the teachers and staff are doing a fantastic job. I'm thrilled that we are able to continue to be a part of the childrens' development and I would like to thank the volunteers for getting involved" says Paula Swann-Jones (director of The Rowleys Partnership Ltd)
Ian Proud, the schools Head Teacher says "On behalf of the school and the children a big thank you for making the children feel special. Helping them with their reading and their understanding of text is crucial to their development, but most of all having a one to one discussion with their own adult, who is sharing their thoughts, is what puts the smile on their faces. Please keep coming!"
